As the time to begin making college decisions with my daughter quickly approaches, I have become more cognizant of the fact that there are now more options than ever to accomplish academic goals. That makes me love everything about this partnership between my alma mater and CCBC. Community colleges can be a great option for savings on general education requirements, career education, strengthening the application fir students that might not have scored well on the admissions exams or not so great GPA’s or exploration of interests for those that are still deciding on what path to take prior to committing to a 4-year degree. The easier it is for students to transition from community colleges to 4-year institutions, the greater the community college option becomes for many students.
