Travelers can stay at the Waterfront Hotel Burlington in Hamilton, which is located steps from the Waterfront Trail and Spencer Smith Park. The hotel offers an on-site pool and restaurant, as well as free Wi-Fi. Rooms come with cable TV and a coffee maker. A breakfast buffet is provided each morning.
This was my second time at the hotel and it's great. Amazing views, rooms. And service. It was beautiful to be able to watch the sunrise on the water just from my room! I also loved walking the pier after a busy day. It's located in a perfect place with everything you need surrounding it. Will be back soon I hope!

We recently stayed here for 2 nights and overall enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly front desk staff. During our check in process, they upgraded our room to one with a better view for no additional charge. It was a very nice gesture!Upon enter in our room, it was very clean. However, I will note that there was a VERY strong floral scent in our room. It was so strong that we had to open our window and turn on the fan to make it less strong. This wasn’t a huge issue to us, but I could see this being more of a problem for someone that is more sensitive to scents. Not sure if it was the cleaning products used or a room spray? Also, the TV was very poor quality, which was disappointing considering the price of the rooms. However, the included breakfast was lovely and the staff working it were extremely friendly. Food was hot and delicious.Despite a couple things we would like to see differently next time, we would stay here again. Clean hotel, nice staff, affordable parking and amazing location.

Three star hotel is correct. Only had enough keys for one key to the room when we checked in. Parking is not free and the lot is shared with the attached restaurant. So if there’s an event, good luck. It’s a nice hotel, sure. Rooms pretty clean though I found a few of hair on the pillowcase and shower. Went down for the “free breakfast” around 8:45am and they were out of food? Breakfast was supposed to be 7 until 10am and part of the reason I booked this hotel. If you stay here hopefully you’ll receive better amenities.Perk is the hotel is steps away from the lake. Very picturesque.

Came here for a work conference. Great location by the water. Catering staff were very attentive and did a great job with clearing plates and refilling water jugs. The food was just ok - they served sandwiches on one day and tacos the second day. The breakfast pastries were not fresh. The paid parking meters are a bit complicated - it listed $17 for a certain time frame but you can only pay in $5, $10, $20 increments. I ended up paying twice because I accidentally selected $15 and it automatically charged me without confirmation.

This place is absolutely the best in that area. Room was nice and clean. Service was very nice. Good breakfast. Very relaxing and calm location. Lots of places to have fun, ( coffee shops, restaurants, ice scream shops, nice little boutiques, beach, much more ) and all in walking distance. Right next to the pier and lots of walking trails. Very nice to go out and enjoy a relaxing moment at the waterfront. Loved it!

Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a stay. They compare countless hotel sites and normally will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of my favorites in this area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you for sure won't regret it.Love the staff! Amazing views! Definitely a hotel that is in the heart of the city, the rooms are gorgeous but the take of it all is being so close to everything around you :). Highly recommend!

Don't pay for parking at the machine like I did as the hotel will charge you $12 at checkout even though I told front desk I had already paid for parking. The room had a lovely water/park view however one of the queen beds was missing the box spring...yes bedding puddled on the floor as the bed was so low. House keeping was pounding on the door at 11am sharp and every few minutes after that threatening an extra charge. This hotel is a great location to walk over to the Performing Arts Centre and the restaurant attached to the hotel was good.

I had such an amazing experience at this hotel, that I need to make an individualized comment for each person who went above and beyond.Kristy: where do I even begin, Kristy is the type of woman you want running a hotel like this, not only was she extremely patient with my disability, explaining things in different ways so I could understand after a seizure. I don’t get that type of respect or empathy with an invisible disability, especially when outside my usual town. She is extremely hard working, any question I had in regards to anything, she knew. I saw her working multiple roles, and I’ve encountered her talking to many guests. This is the type of employee and human being, that you want to keep around. We struggled with picking the pearl and this hotel, and I am SO happy we chose the waterfront because staff are hands on, and truly care.Claudine: Claudine was our first interaction at the hotel, we came in upset, exhausted and just ready to lay down, after a horrible air bnb experience. Claudine not only accommodated my disability but also got us in quickly, and gave us the most beautiful room, because my exhausted mother really wanted to see the water. Claudine was professional, empathetic, and went above and beyond for us as well.Laura: Laura has been a familiar face, consistently through our stay, with warm welcomes, smiles for literally miles, and compassion for all her coworkers and guests. Interacting with Laura has always made my experience better, she took interest in my service dog, solved any issues or concerns I had, and just over increased the probability of us booking with your hotel, and no other.Ed: Ed provided much needed kindness, compassion, and of course, his humour. Ed held the kind of professionalism, yet making you laugh, that makes you appreciate the balance he brings to the hotel. When I extended my stay, Ed made sure it was effortless, fast, and I got the same rate as before. Ed is apart of the dream team, that is being created here.Thank you all so much, after so many hospital visits, and things going wrong, I am crying as I write this, those 4 employees deserve a raise, because they impacted my life, and I’m sure many more like me.Thank you all for the spectacular experience.

Stay was great for the value! We had a lower level room that had a nice view of the water and park, the room was clean, bed and pillows comfortable, and extra touches like pillow stool and movable tray table for the sofa. Would definitely stay again

This is an amazing venue . My daughter was just married there we had a very very small wedding which was catered to like there were 100 people . I can't say enough about the food and the staff were incredible . Maddie was our primary hostess she was absolutely amazing we honestly wanted her to join us for drinks later that night . The manager was incredible. We didn't get his name but the service he provided made it clear why this is such a great place to go . Food is 5 star. Their chefs put together some culinary masterpieces. An absolute gem by the lake. If in Burlington and looking for a place for food or drink it is a must . If planning any celebration this is a perfect venue . Again can't say enough about how well Maddie and her team looked after us !!!!!

The rooms were ok. There was no one to help us with our luggage and front desk was preoccupied. The TV didn't work and the toilet wouldn't flush and the room was 16 degrees when we got there. The beds were comfortable and lots of pillows. The view of the lake was amazing. The restaurant closed early due to a snowstorm so we didn't have anywhere to eat. We had a toddler with us so that made things challenging. Would try someplace else next time

Don't forget to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking a place. They compare countless booking websites and normally will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of the best in the area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you won't be let down.View never disappoints here. Friendly staff throughout the hotel. Rooms are always clean and breakfast in AM is great value that's added. I prefer the rooms with the park view. Also this hotel is very conveniently located for dining and other amenities and facilities in downtown Burlington.

Interesting place with lots of potential. The location is great. The room is spacious, nice views, carpet is full of stains (which could easily be cleaned). The staff do not seem happy. No greetings / hello’s from the staff at the lobby, breakfast staff, or cleaning staff. We are here for another 2 days and will try our best to make one of them smile. The hotel manager should be paying attention to this.

I recently had a highly disappointing experience at this hotel, and I feel it's crucial to share my feedback.During my stay, everything seemed fine, but upon checking out, I was shocked to learn that the housekeeping team noticed a broken window in my room two days later. The hotel management then claimed that I was responsible for the damage since I was the last guest in the room. However, this logic baffles me. How can I be held accountable for a broken window that was only discovered after my departure? What frustrates me even more is the hotel's handling of the situation. Without any notification or my authorization, they charged me the fee relating to the broken window on my credit card. It was only after the charge appeared on my statement that I realized it was related to the damage, prompting me to reach out to them via email to inquire about it.This lack of transparency and failure to obtain proper authorization before charging my credit card is unacceptable. Additionally, the hotel has yet to provide any evidence to support their claim that I caused the damage. I find it unjust that I am being asked to pay an unreasonable fee without any substantiation.I had hoped for a fair and amicable resolution with the hotel, but it seems they are unwilling to acknowledge their part in this matter. As a result, I am left with no choice but to share my experience here.I urge potential guests to be cautious when considering a stay at this hotel. This incident, along with their questionable approach to customer service, raises concerns about their professionalism and integrity. Transparency, prompt communication, and fair treatment should be the foundation of any reputable establishment, and unfortunately, I found these qualities lacking at this hotel. It is my hope that by sharing my experience, others will be more informed and cautious in their decision to stay at this hotel.

I have visited this hotel a couple times now and I love going there. It’s clean, it offers just about all you need for your stay and it is strategically located, not too far from the highway and right at Toronto’s western door.I also find that the all the team working there is simply amazing - much more than “respectful, cordial and professional”. Everyone I met was great but special thanks to Laura :)

I stayed there last weekend and had the BEST service experience from Laura, a manager. She made sure I was in the best room they could provide (away from potentially noisy areas, and on an upper floor with a great view), and was able to provide early check-in and late check-out. Great location, comfortable and free breakfast! It was the perfect little getaway.

It's a beautiful hotel with a perfect location to reach the waterfront trail or to watch the sunrise. Its near the downtown and many restaurants and cafes are nearby at a walkinf distance. City hall and village square are on a 6 mins walking distance. However when they say lake view rooms those are not actual lake view but you get to see part of it based on the rooms you get. Breakfast served is amazing with a mix of packed food and cooked food. They have a swimming pool too which is open from 9am to 9 pm and it's a heated pool along with gym facility.Overall a good option to stay. Sunrise video is taken from lobby area.

Hotel is pretty average. With a mild breeze outside, it sounded like the window frame in my room was going to fall out.In-house restaurant was disappointing.Front desk can benefit from a refresher course on customer service.Cleaning staff are friendly and helpful.

I want to thank the team at Waterfront Hotel downtown Burlington in Canada for their excellent service. I mistakenly booked a room in the wrong city, and they generously refunded me without any hassle. Their professionalism and understanding were greatly appreciated.Thank you for your help. I will definitely recommend your hotel and stay there in the future.

This is the WORST hotel experience I’ve ever had in my life! do not stay here. We checked into our first room and it was not cleaned well at all dog hair on the bed, dead flies, sticky night tables so we went down to front desk and had it changed. The next room was better but still not super clean and mold in the shower but honestly I just didn’t want be annoying and complain so we settled in and we went out for dinner, came back got our baby down and went to sleep but we were rudely awoken to music absolutely POUNDING probably around midnight ish. I called front desk and they said they would try to have sound lowered a bit but honestly and truly it just got louder, so I went down talked to front desk and she felt so bad but there wasn’t much she could do.The music is insanely loud in the lobby from the restaurant, tons of bass. I feel so bad for staff that work night shift dealing with this! Apparently a lot of guests also complained and some even just straight up leave. I will definitely be requesting a refund and booking a different hotel for tomorrow night. I’m extremely disappointed and exhausted.

I’ve never stayed at this hotel before, and the fair price is what led me to book. I don’t think I’ll ever stay anywhere else in the vicinity again. The location could not have been better, the hotel was very clean and really nice. What stood out most to me, was the staff. Such genuinely friendly people. Laura at the front desk is an absolute breath of fresh air, I’ve been on the road in sales, staying in hotels a few times a month for the past 20 years, and if everyone could find staff like that, it would make traveling an absolute pleasure. The ownership should be very proud of what they have here. Take care of these people, solid gold.

I wasn’t a guest here and never will be . Today I took an adventure outing to Burlington which I usually enjoy 100% . However , today was different . After supporting a local eatery , paying for my parking , wanting to visit the art gallery and walking the waterfront I needed to find a restroom . I was ready to buy a beverage or snack to use the restroom at the Port House restaurant adjoined to the Waterfront Hotel . However , they now only open at 4 pm . So , I did the logical thing and explained my situation the the front desk at the hotel . She replied , we have no public washroom . I was shocked ! Doesn’t every reasonable hotel have a bathroom at the lobby level . I explained my frustration . The clerk told me I needed to go to City Hall or use one of the several coffee shops across the road .I started walking to City Hall and by now my legs were getting tired . I turned around and found a welcoming Cafe .When I entered a woman was there with her sweet dog . We just started chatting . I explained my story to her and she said . They have a bathroom . I use it all the time with my dog . She phoned the hotel ( even though I didn’t want her to ) . She had lived in Burlington for 50 years and knew this wasn’t the right way to treat a guest to your city .A male answered and told the local woman I met that I was rude and entitled . I can’t believe it . I calmly asked to simply use the bathroom and expressed my frustration about the lack of public bathrooms on the waterfront .The female clerk seems to be on a power trip and had a bee in her bonnet today .

We spent the night for a wedding. The room was lovely and contained all the amenities. I really liked the full length mirror outside of the bathroom. The desk area with lamp by the window was also great. Breakfast was terrific, a full breakfast. My only complaint would be lighting. As we were getting ready for a wedding, applying make up was essential. The bathroom lighting was insufficient.

I have stayed at this hotel on a few different occasions & it never ceases to keep me smiling. The rooms are always clean and beautifully/modernly decorated, and the continental breakfast is above and beyond. All the staff are super friendly, and on more than one occasion, they have gone way out of their way to make sure I had the most enjoyable stay at their facility. If I had any questions or concerns about anything, they never rushed me by or tried to get rid of me in any form. On the contrary, they took their time to explain everything and make sure I fully understood any charges/any questions that arose. They were also very quick to rectify any issues or concerns I had.The location of the hotel is also absolutely gorgeous, which goes without saying. It is located in the heart of downtown Burlington, so everything is walking distance.Overall, I have nothing negative to say about this establishment, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel in Burlington. To put the cherry on top, the price point is amazing as well. It is also pet-friendly for a small fee, which, to me, is completely understandable given the extra cleaning that comes along with having an animal!100% You must book your next Burlington stay at the Waterfront Hotel! I promise you will not be disappointed!

The 2 queen beds were not queens and in fact were doubles (I measured too) we had 2 rooms and one of them had a broken bed that was falling to the ground and put up on a dresser I think 🤦🏽♀️ There is no more hot tub which really sucked and the breakfast doesn’t have waffles anymore like it used to. This hotel has went down hill the past few years and I won’t be going again anymore. The pool was cold too. I didn’t enjoy my visit here. Also I find it really funny that I asked the house keeper about the beds and I told her I have a queen at home and it’s bigger than that and she said “me too” so they must know that’s a damn Double bed smh 🤦🏽♀️

Second time at this hotel - It is alright. I wouldn't rate this as a great hotel. It is good, and somewhat clean. There is no hot tub and the pool is cold. Downtown Burlington is boring, so nothing really exciting. I don't think this hotel is worth over 200. I've seen it go as high as 350/night. The staff are blank. They were not helpful, accommodating, one of them was rude. I had to dispose of garbage myself left from the previous guest in the room. The front desk could have offered us another room. It was a Sunday night, the hotel was not full.

I found the room cleanliness to be totally lacking. There were hairs on the bathroom sink, in the bathtub and on the sheets. The hotel was also extremely loud. It felt like we didn’t even have our hotel door closed. We could hear everyone who walked by- full conversations clear as day, which was not ideal when people were drunkenly returning from weddings at 3am. I would not recommend this hotel, especially for the cost. Staff was very friendly though.
